all motherboards have the ability to specify which order the drives boot
up in without it you would always get the same fault every time you switch on.
but it is more likely to be a fault with the internal HDD.

It hasnt gone any further in the last 10 minutes. The last line is multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(0)\WINDOWS\System32\DRIVERS\agp440.sys (it just hangs on that). Thx :oops: ok will try to explain what this means. your PC is telling you it did not find a HDD. then it is telling you it is searching...

no dont turn off USB ports or none of the usb will this should be a simple boot priority go into your BIOS and set up boot priority which ever HDD you use should be first then cd/dvd optical drive oh i forgot you dont have one of these next should be a floppy then any external drive that should cure...

will not be playing bf2 again untill later in the year
probably camp9. the cd i have is nackered got 2 cracks in it

why not use a virtual drive microsoft made one free or you could find thousands of em as freeware. beats the disc protection every time. cuz I paid for nero and alkie.
