yea i had the same problem, patching again fixed it.

I've had similar problems and i deleted the game the deleted any referance in the registry, rebooted and it installed fine.

I figured it out. Somthing to do with the registry. I unstalled, deleted everything for EA in the registry and reinstalled and it works now. thanks for the suggestions.

Ok here is the deal, I installed the last patch but then the game said i had an older version then the server whenever i tried joining a game. So i said F it and reinstalled the game. Now it wont even start up, when i open the game it shows the boot screen then the screen goes black like its startin...

been useing 81.98 and havent had any problems.
