Bad idea.
No... good idea. Keeps you from flag chasing (no more dealing with the stupid helo capping of flags either) and the action stays heavy and exciting. Plus you REALLY have to have a good commander to beat the other guys.

That would be 1280x1024, which happens to be an unsupported resolution (but you can run at that). The next best thing is 1152x864, which is what I and my son run at. I have an eVga 6800 Ultra, and he has an eVga 6800GT (with a video card BIOS voltage mod, overclocked to 422 core/1180memory). Good wa...

Winter, Supposedly the 256mb version of the 6600GT outperforms the 6800 in almost all areas. I'd have to get a 6800GT to get better performance. Since my mobo is AGP only the high-end Radeons aren't an option plus those cards are all $100+ more expensive. Yeah, a 6600 w/256mb will beat a 6800 w/128...

Yeah, your system sounds like there may be too much heat there, and more than likely it's because you vid card fan is hogged up with dust. Some of the air coming off of the heatsink is meant to help, albeit very little, keep the ram cooled as well. If you blow out the fan/heatsink hold the blades an...

Another thing you might want to try is reseating everything but the processor.

Drive Cables, power cables, memory, and especially your video card and other expansion cards. Beleive it or not, they can sometimes work loose.

I was looking for a new community after leaving the last one I was in and someone replied with =GC='s address. I think the site was bf1942.com??? I don't remember who it was either. I came to =GC= and checked it out for about a month or two before signing up for Campaign 4 (at the very end).
