Unless its WW2 I won't even be interested... much less "blown away". Its time for the BF1942 diehards to get some love from EA. (1943 was a complete joke BTW, a total waste of 15 bucks. ) If it wasn't for the good folks at Forgotten Hope BF would be long dead to me.

Unfortunately I can't seem to run the mod. Vista doesn't allow FH2.exe to start the game and keeps correcting the shortcut to start BF2.exe

I'm sure I'll see ya on a FH2 server this weekend... and as Gribble said lets hope its a good release. BGF is already practically dead and its only been out for 2 weeks.

Hey Brum and Matsif... I'd pretty much given up on BF2 and any hope of the aptly named Forgotten Hope 2, but I'll be gott damned they've actually created a release version.

BTW nice to see the building still standing Brummie. Its tireless work you do here.

Whats faster AMD 1.6 or P4 2.5?

I can switch my gaming rig over to the AMD 1.6 but I don't know if I'll gain or lose performance. Any suggestions?

I thought I met Gribble at BFE also... I'm not sure either. I'm not back at BFE... just pubbing FH atm.

DG, I'm in the same boat as you, kinda, I don't much care for BF2 and I'm waiting on a good historical mod.

I thought you guys met on the Axis side in BFE??? You were both officers in Axis Kamphgruppe... right? That predates EOD does it not. I'm confused.

Im playing BF... 42 that is... FH. Too many "low skill" weapons and features in BF2, hopefully the mods will not include the tard features in the game.

Hogan, Did you fix the problem? If not you'll need to clean your registry. Its pretty easy but you have to know where to look. Open the "Run" dialogue box from the start menu and type: regedit Under HKEY Local Machine/Software delete any files that relate to BF2 Under HKEY Current User/Sof...
