Re: Battlefield V - early access

Just played a bunch. It plays very well I think from an infantry perspective. The time to kill is quite short, which means that given the maps are quite large and getting about takes time, it's essential to play cautiously. Also, given any class player can revive members of their squad, it massively...

Re: Battlefield V - early access

I thought it was okay actually. The lack of 3D spotting rewards a more cautious gameplay style, but I don't think people have cottoned onto that yet, and are still rushing about. You can get very good results by slowing down your gameplay. I only played the beta, so things might have changed, but I ...

Re: new Battlefield revealed on May 23rd

Gotta say, that gameplay is looking pretty hot. I really couldn't stand the gunplay in BF1, but this is looking much better!!

Re: new Battlefield revealed on May 23rd

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xegBXGaFrOU It sounds like they've slowed the gameplay down from BF1 and BF4 a bit, which I think was needed, and rolled back the stupid gun-play from BF1, which was also really needed. If they have proper server controls, I'm cautiously hopeful. It does sound like a...

Re: [Star Citizen] - Spaceships in space est. 2012.

God no, dont expect it for another year at minimum It's been a year away for the past two years. I get the feeling that they didn't really have a clear idea of where they were going until about 2014. That said, they are doing some pretty awesome stuff now and seem to be making good progress, so I t...

Re: So, what have you been up to?

Also, are there any prospects for a new campaign anytime soon? I know we don't have any great prospects for a new game but if there's something that's flexible enough for us to use I'd be happy to jump in, regardless of the game's setting or mechanics. I want to get back into the cycle. BF1 isn't w...

Hi haruky

Well... super busy these days. Writing thesis. Working on some random electronics projects. Looking for a job. No fun allowed :|

I have started playing a bit of Overwatch tho, that's actually turned out to be a really addicting game.

Re: All aboard the BF5 hype train

Eh, it seems pretty obvious they are still validating the service. With software that can be difficult to predict timelines. Pretty stupid that they haven't managed to do something so similar to what they already had implemented on consoles to the deadline of the main game release.

Re: [Star Citizen] - Spaceships in space est. 2012.

right now its sorta between a tech demo and a beta. If you havent played it yet, give it a shot, but i dont reccomend playing it for more than a couple hours because you'll be burning yourself out before the official release. This. I've dipped in and out to check their progress, but there are some ...
