I'm lead to believe it was a paid for hack in this occasion. PB does detect quite a few, they just wait for quite a while before banning if it is still being distrubuted.

Obviously, the custom made and/or tightly controlled cheats are very hard to do anything with.

Punkbuster cleared us of a pretty heavy cheater or two at the start of this campaign. It does work.

I personally have no problem with it. Some people can naturally tell where the dead center of their screen is, others can get it with practice, and others may always struggle. LoA and I have done a bit of DayZ Taviana with SinX. It's goooood.

From what I understand, by the use of an experimental magic generator in the small car, it detects things coming to rearend it and stops them in their tracks, while transmitting a warning to brace for sudden stop the the effected vehicle. Clever stuff.
