Re: PLAYERUNKNOWN Battleground

My friends finally convinced me to buy the game last week and I've been having a lot of fun. To Gwynzer's point, you can definitely get ahead (and maybe win) by hiding in buildings and getting lucky, but that's boring. If you want to have fun, you go to busy spots and get aggressive. There is a lot ...

Re: Rocket League - DeLorean

I bought RL last week and have been playing it almost as much as I've played Fallout... I'll probably start making a room in TS when I'm playing. I don't think I have many GC players on Steam, but you can add me if you wish: zorplex

Re: [Star Citizen] - Arena Commander and Hangar Patch Releas

I'll definitely be playing the PTU when it opens to everyone. This has what I've been waiting for so hopefully it lives up to at least some of our expectations. :P

(And I'm definitely looking forward to helping fly some GCs multi-crew ships. )

Why do the need to come up with those ridiculous configurations?

To be honest, anything would be better than the prequels, but we'll see.
I think it's a cross guard. Makes a lot of sense to me.

Re: Phantom Dog Tags For Elevator

Uggggggh, I wasn't planning on doing the Phantom Assignments. While neat, the easter eggs weren't worth the time and effort of hunting tags and completing the old assignments. But if it's what is required to get the bow, I may just have to bite the bullet...

Re: Blew up a small portion of my yard tonight...

First, do NOT experiment with rocket motors. Chemical rockets are basically bombs with holes cut in one side, so if you aren't careful you can very easily make a bomb (which you apparently did) and given the right circumstances it can become deadly. Of course the smaller they are, the less risk ther...

Re: Science!

Very cool! I think this is the first time I've seen a model plane using the Magnus effect. I always found it neat that by using circulation theory, you can model lift generated by airfoils as a spinning tubes and vice versa. And what's more, there were/are some ships that use large spinning cylinder...

Re: [Civilization Beyond Earth] Oh. lawd.

Played the demo. It was fun. Aliens are a much bigger threat than barbarians. No idea if the multiplayer is improved. Still going to wait for the complete edition. I'm tired of buying games in pieces.

Re: Nvidia GTX 970 is crazy good

Yeah, I picked up a 7970 on sale and a 280x last fall for BF4 for around $500 total and made part of that back mining crypto coins. I'm considering trying to sell them both if I can manage to break even buying a 970. The reason I didn't go with nVidia last year was VRAM and Mantle. Mantle is okay bu...

Re: BF4C3 Feedback

Not everyone here is going to be all hardass and competitive. Much less every general we look at. Then don't expect the next campaign to be any different then the last 5 ones. After every campaign like that everyone around here asks why the campaign ends so soon with such imbalance? And every time ...

Re: A call for BF3!

If it weren't for the CTE Fall patch coming out in the next couple weeks, I would be all for it. Unfortunately, I really want to play a BF4 campaign with the CTE fixes. I was hoping they would have come out during this last campaign, but alas.

Re: BF4C3 Feedback

It might be interesting to play with two max attack/defend instead of three with a reduced total division count. It would make map exchange more fluid and mean we would play more maps every week.
