Re: Motherboard suggestions?

You have a K series cpu, which is for overclocking, but you can't overclock on an H61 mobo. If you're building another computer, you might as well upgrade your mobo so you can OC. Pretty much any Z77 mobo will be good, idk what prices are like where you are so I can't really recommend anything speci...

Re: Second Assault Impressions...

The Bf3 maps are cool, but without the Bf3 gameplay, it's still crap. Why don't we do another campaign in Bf3? I would play.

Re: Monitor/Graphics Issue

generally I'm in agreement with Ash that it's probably a software issue somewhere due to the selective performance, but really I would look into getting a new monitor. and a real monitor at that. insignia is owned by best buy and as far back as I can remember they've always had a horrible reputatio...

Re: New Rig

Okay, so for whatever reason, my receipt for my current computer specs doesn't have specifics on my HDD or PSU but here's the basic: "Power Supply 800 Watt - Standard (I'm 98% sure it's this because of the model number: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817342033 Oh, you sa...

Re: New Rig

3570k vs 4670k and 1600mhz vs 1866mhz ram, is a verrrrrry little, if any, difference. 760 vs 770 is pretty big difference. Save the money on the CPU+mobo and RAM and get a better GPU. Edit: I guess it's only a $7 difference for the RAM, so nevermind on that) It's not a horrible idea to get a decent ...

Re: New Rig

You won't be able to fit an old memory on new Mobo. DDR3 has been around for like 4 generations. Will definitely be on the next gen too, and possibly even the next. Either way, CPU+Mobo+RAM is like half the cost of an entire computer. Plus you're assuming I'm interested in buying the newly released...

Re: New Rig

Ok, great, that makes it much easier to build a beast rig for $800. 750w is way more than enough. Re: New Rig

Does it need to be an entire new computer or do you have an existing one that you can use a few parts from? Case, HDD(s), possibly PSU. If yes, what are they (especially the PSU)

Need a vehicle crew for 10v10 Tournament!

I have a 5v5 infantry team, we want to try out the 10v10+commander Cup to see how it goes and possibly try to build a team for the long term if there are going to be more larger-than-5v5 tournaments. Full details here: http://levelbf.com/forum/topic/1500/ What I'm looking for in a potential player M...

Re: Anyone interested in doing some 5v5 competitive

There are 32vs32 matches between communities/clans out there, but getting a team up is very challenging even for large clans. Starting smaller is a wise choice. 8vs8 or 12vs12 with tanks/choppers was also popular in BF3. Domination? With random spawns? Not good. In BF3 people played 3/4 flag conque...
