Re: All aboard the BF5 hype train

Why do the servers feel like some kind of board meeting happened with some out of touch grey beards. They heard that some pubbies are upset with admins kicking them so said "No admins on any servers ever. We will control all servers." Then after the beta went "But that's expensive so ...

Re: All aboard the BF5 hype train

Why wouldn't you launch with all game modes available? I don't even understand the logic. Presumably the official EA servers will launch with all game modes and one assumes the server software would be the same. I mean why would you make two sets of server software? So they are just being elitist pr...

Re: All aboard the BF5 hype train

At a guess: Assault is so high as it's the only class with a (useful) fully automatic weapon plus AT capabilities. Sniper Scout is a close second because sniper. Support is next because LMG. Medic is under used as you have to press a button to request a revive and when people do, you only see the ic...

Re: All aboard the BF5 hype train

I'd like to chip in with respect to FCing (mainly because I saw someone talking about needing to work out how FCing will work out). I don't know how many people remember FCing in BF3, but I see FCing in BF1 as basically the same minus a MAV. BF3 had no commander mode and we FCed perfectly fine there...

Re: All aboard the BF5 hype train

Codes for the Beta are out (or going out). Call in sick if to play you feel so inclined. Or don't. What ever floats your boat. I'm not your Dad: I can't tell you what to do.

Re: deus ex: mankind divided

Nearing the end and I think it's a pretty nice game. In the later levels (no spoilers) it rains bit and there is a thunder storm. It started raining here (and thundering) and my window was open. The smell of rain wafted in as the thunder clapped around me. Made the atmosphere so much more palpable.

Re: Rocket League: The Road From Cult Classic to Surprise Su

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars not only has the best name for a game I've ever played (or indeed ever) but also holds the record for the only game to ever give me a headache while playing due to the extreme motion. It is a great game.

The more you know.

Re: Travel to Europe. Have some questions..

With that said, how easy is it for traveling between the countries in Europe? I don't plan on spending the entire month in Europe and would love to be able to go around to different countries in the area. I know there are some budget airlines available and the Eurail as well.. What do you guys thin...

Re: All aboard the BF5 hype train

RE: FCing, Even with just a mini-map, or sitting in the spawn screen, it's definitely possible. Not too dissimilar to BF3 on the maps where a MAV wasn't workable - Seine crossing etc. SL's have to be more disciplined though as there isn't as much accountability without commander. Good job I still h...
