Re: How that guy knew you were coming...
It's pretty simple really, if the game balance could be better, frak realism.

Re: How that guy knew you were coming...
Didn't realize the passive spotting was this big, and it certainly might explain a lot of ragey moments where flanking doesn't work whatsoever. That crap needs to be removed, or at the very least function exclusively as some sort of recon gadget or possibly vehicle perk.

Re: Campaign system proposal (no RISK)
Don't see any real issues with this concept. At this point it seems fairly reasonable at the very least to try out something different than the previous formula with minimal changes. Risk has been somewhat of a unique selling point for gc, but if it goes unused by 90% of the participants, the sellin...

Re: BF4C5: What do YOU want to see?
How would you incorporate that?
I enjoyed SQDM a lot in BC2, but never found it fun in either of the latest two games, mostly because of changes to gun mechanics and damage ranges.

Re: The "Balance" Problem (Survey Feedback)
I've mentioned this before, but I actually felt more motivated to help practices, write strategy or work harder to show that I deserved a spot when there was a waiting room. It sort of motivated me to try and make myself invaluable enough to not have to wait. It might entirely just be me being weird...

Re: BF4C5: Generals Discusion
Gonzo is the only one I really know, so that'd currently be my nr. 1 pick.
Is there any way we can perhaps get an introduction from candidates, or just a salesspeech of some sort? I think that'd help, also particularly for new recruits.

Re: The "Balance" Problem (Survey Feedback)
I know I'm personally a huge failure at using the battleday signups and that's always been the case. Really, I just don't fraking know if and if so, when i'll be available ahead of time. The best advice I can give on that is that captains etc. get active on getting to know people. I was actively tex...

Re: The "Balance" Problem (Survey Feedback)
Unless you can find some way of sifting through armor/air players, then it seems like it might give some skewed results for those in particular. People who exclusively play infantry will generally have a pretty different set of stats than the players in specialized roles. It's true, but members who...

Re: The "Balance" Problem (Survey Feedback)
There's a few requests for transparency here and in the survey. To that all I've got to say is we (execs) have certainly taken that on board and for now, "stay tuned." I can walk through what the General Selection Process has been so far for our BF4 Campaigns. I'd like to point out now th...

Re: The "Balance" Problem (Survey Feedback)
Don't think I can say I disagree with anything. Well written post and it's actually nice to hear(see) anything in depth about the army building process without necessarily having to dedicate yourself to the point where you'd basically automatically make HC rank based on commitment. What I would pers...

Re: Reminder: Scrim 1 tomorrow
On a slightly related note. Why is it discussion on how to constructively improve/change systems here can only be put in a forum that's behind a wall(however small it is). It does send a signal that your opinion isn't valued in nearly the same way as someone whohas either put in money or holds a per...
