SW Battlefront II

Shot in the dark here, would anybody be interested in putting together a mini-campaign or funday with Star Wars Battlefront 2? I know the multiplayer is down, but you can still host servers on Game Ranger. I haven't figured out the details of how it would work, but I wanted to gauge interest before ...

Re: Overwatch Open Beta

Mine is BlackIce999#1822 if anyone's interested - I'm on PC, don't think there's any crossover.

I mainly play support, though I also tank a lot and I can Soldier in a pinch.

Re: Overwatch Open Beta

As long as Calloutman revived this thread, perhaps it's worth asking again.

Is anyone interested in forming something a little more serious? Nothing like a tournament, but a coordinated stack is always nice.

Re: So, what have you been up to?

Yep, I'm in the same boat as the rest of you. Peeking in the forums, hardly anything going on. :/ Frankly, I've come to respect and desire the same kind of communication and coordination of =GC= as all my games. I do a lot of Dota 2 and Overwatch, and it's actually really hard to find people who don...

Re: 2016 Campaign Update

Just felt like poking my head in to say that I'm glad to see that things haven't fallen completely silent in the past three years since I left. I'd love to join in for some BF1, or even some BF3/4 if people wanted to get something casual together. I miss this place.

I'd be interested as well. Not sure if I can make that date though.

Re: Opinions on a Bad Company 2 campaign?

After our discussion post-battleday, this seemed to be one of the few short-term options left, besides Squad. So I hopped in game with my brother, and damn was it fun. The movement felt a little wonky, sure, but the gameplay is appealing in ways that BF3 or BF4 just aren't. Others are entitled to th...

Re: New Recruit

Rather than make a new thread, I'll just hijack my old one. Hey all! I'm officially back now. I don't know how busy I'll be on the weekends from here on out (my work/commitment schedule varies quite a bit), but I've got a brand new rig and all the DLC's this time. For the first time in GC history, y...

Re: Building a PC

FYI, I bought my parts at the MC on Ogden Avenue and they knock the motherboard price down to like 20-40$ when you buy together, AND they have an extra cheap price for the FX 8350 CPU. I think it was 120 in store. Yeah, I'll definitely be going to MC. Good to hear that it'll make things cheaper. Al...

Re: Building a PC

BlackIce Drop out Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) lol, use that money for better grafic or intel i5. That version of Windows is just there as a placeholder. I can get a copy of Windows 8.1 Pro for Students (64-bit) for $70. Gotta have an operating system, right? I'd rathe...

Re: Building a PC

Thanks for pointing out MicroCenter, Kings6moh. Buying in person seems like the much better option. I'm still going to have to pass on the SSD though. I'd much rather prioritize GPU and CPU performance, since I could always upgrade later. In regards to your build, you switched my RAM from the Kingst...

Re: Building a PC

Thanks for all the help guys! Here's a few follow-up responses and questions: 1) Gtx 960 - Thanks for pointing this one out to me. I had assumed that a lesser GPU would drop in price, but apparently the gtx 660 is just crap. I'm now using the GTX 960 as my new baseline. 2) GTX 960 vs R9 280 - I've l...

Building a PC

Hey everyone! I'm beginning the process of building myself a computer, and I could really use some input. My target is $800, though that's just a goal. I'm using the Arkham Knight specs as a kind of reference for how well my pc needs to perform: http://www.pcgamer.com/arkham-knight-system-requiremen...

New Recruit

Hey everyone!

So, I'm new here. Just bought Battlefield 4 recently, and I'm not sure how well it's going to run yet, but for $10 why the hell not? I'm not always super available, but I'd love to just jump in when and where I can. Where do I sign up for things?
