Re: Teamspeak discipline

Cognito behaved poorly. I'm willing to forgive, but he refuses to admit he did anything wrong. He spreads the blame to bitesizebeef, who kicked me a second time, and so it's "okay". It's not a huge deal, I just feel betrayed by who I had previously considered a friend. It's bad behavior ho...

Re: Teamspeak discipline

It's really a ridiculously childish issue of being repeatedly kicked from a channel by people I'd muted.

Teamspeak discipline

We have people (CognitoCon) abusing the interim teamspeak privileges to kick people from channels and otherwise be a nuisance for personal reasons. This interim ability is being abused, and so I'm writing this to ask for improvement to keep such abuse from recurring.

HTML5 Game Development Course

This sounds pretty cool, so much so that I'm posting before looking at a single course:

Re: Warmth, Globally

The US is not generally well educated about the science of global warming. The common refrain is "It snowed in Tennesee today, therefore global warming is wrong". Because a lot of US citizens don't understand that 'global warming' means an increase in the global average temperature, nor wh...

Re: Warmth, Globally

You guys so crazy. Global warming: -More extreme weather = more damaging weather = more costly damage -Colder winters = more heating costs -Hotter summers = more cooling costs -Less glaciers and snowcaps = higher sea levels = less habitable land = Major coastal cities increasingly underwater I don't...

Warmth, Globally

Global Warming is happening. They call CO2 a greenhouse gas, because it's known to hold heat from escaping as electromagnetic radiation. A number of politically influential businessmen argue there's no such thing.

How will you prepare for and handle the change in weather patterns?

Re: Is GC going to skip the Close Quarters DLC?

I am definitely not interested in padding the paychecks of EA after this recent patch, and I'm unconvinced such a limited-player map will really be much fun anyway. Of course, any decision will be made by the community on the actual DLC...but I doubt we'd ever play anything less than a 32-player map...

Re: To all those who hate suppression

I'm not a demanding gamer, I'm not one to notice subtleties much, as my abilities seem to flux plenty on their own. But this patch... is just awful. I like playing this game about 20% less now, if not a bit more like 35%. I used to think the complaints about EA were just excessively bitchy, but WOW ...

Hell yes, my brother... except I wonder how long it'll take.

BTW, my apartment walls are made of painted cinderblocks... which is excellent encouragement not to punch them.

Re: TeamSpeak 3 Overlay

Let me clarify. When someone is talking, I can see them (except if they're whispering). I can't see the names of people in my channel group that aren't talking, though. When no one is talking, my overlay shows no names at all. (also, sometimes when there are whispers (when i'm on channel commander),...

TeamSpeak 3 Overlay

So I see other people (daDoughBoy's videos show this) can see all the people in their TS channel group even if they're not talking. This does NOT work for me. Neither does setting the overlay's position in the TS3 plugin settings. The settings seem to have no effect. I'm on Win7 64bit, with a GeForc...
