What Tv said.

You also need to check if the server is running a mod or expansion pack. I haven't looked recently but I'd guess most servers are running some kind of mod.

It was the spring that held the hamster in place in his computer. Now that hamster is roaming around who knows where and his computer performance will be severely degraded.

There are still server problems but it seems to be showing up in the browser now (ASE still can't find it though). It's just the number of servers that pop up in the browser that is the problem. It was reporting 7 instances last night. 8O

heh, good to know Assasin. Not sure how my CD key got removed since I didn't start playing around in the registery until after the problem arose. Anyways, the reinstall did fix it and I managed to play about 20 minutes of the battle today before I had to go to work.

Woot figured it out. 8) Well, the uninstall problem at least reinstalling now so we'll see if the cash to browser issue solves itself. The uninstall issue was the BF2 Editor. Crashing to server browser

So I've been running BF2 fine for a couple months now and all of a sudden I can't join any servers. I log into my account fine but when I select a server it shows the "joining server" dialog then returns me to the browser. :? I figured reinstalling BF2 would fix it but I can't uninstall it...

Looks like something left over from alpha testing. The really, the GP initials and the _DO_ do not look like they were supposed to be in the final product.

I tried playing with it a bit. Ran really slow on my comp, frustratingly slow. I'll wait till the full version comes out and hopefully it'll bit a bit less buggy and run smoother.
