Am I seeing this right - the 660 only requires one 6 pin power connector opposed to 2x6pin on 660Ti and 7870XT. My PSU is 6 years old. Ohw yeah, forgot about your PSU ;) Soo your PSU is 6 Years old, how much Wattage can it provide? and the Model/Brand? Otherwise get a new one Corsair CX600 or somet...

Tthat's not completely true, it's just who get's the better drivers out. But around that price i'd say

The new 7870 XT, it performs better than a GTX 660 at least... But I thought he wanted the "green camp".

I will probably play on low anyway just now with more than 30fps/average and AA on. So I think 660 should do but if I get an SSD as well I might get the TI just in case I want some candy from time to time. It really depends from where I order, from DE it will take a week or so from SI only 2-3 days...

Well it's an old CPU, but I think it won't bottleneck the 660ti.. And Battlefield 3 doesn't use more then 4 gigs of ram. So it's your choice, I'm not sure though since I can't find any benchmarks about your CPU. But there is one that says that the Intel G860 is powerful enough to get with a GTX680, ...

And ehm, Micro-Stuttering occasionally doesn't happen on Single-Way running cards, only when you start Crossfiring/SLI'ing them you will get those problems more (Especially Crossfiring). So have you any plans to get a SLI/Crossfire set-up? Than yes go for NVIDIA. And if your preference is Nvidia any...
