Thanks for the link . I gave it a look. Unfortunatley it only outputs to streams, not a virtual camera. What I was trying to find was something that outputs the screen to a kind of pretend webcam.

Does anyone know a decent free screen capture software that out puts to virtual camera? I have tried Xsplit and VH Screen Capture but neither seem to want to output at all.

I made an animated gif of the GC logoey thing (the one on the banner) you can use. Or you can grab the frames if you'd rather. Or you can wait for Flummi to weave his magics.

I have a long list of troubleshooting tips back at home from trying to get BF3 to play nice. I'm headed back for Christmas so can post them late this week if you haven't fixed it by then. Not saying they will work but they may be helpful.
