Having to reset your box is a good indicator that the box is trouble. Can you get a manual for it as some have internal logs that can show what errors are causing problems. Some of them have heat issues when crammed in somewhere. Most DSL routers tend to be separate from a DSL modem requiring you to...

Then try removing the sound card. Or completely disabling it in the bios if its onboard. Rule out the sound completely.

Do free online scans at

www.antivirus.com
www.ravantivirus.com
www.pandasoftware.com
www.symantec.com

I have yet to see any antivirus catch everything once a foothold has been established. Usually getting a 2nd, 3rd and 4th scan will catch additional items.

I would also think Cheesy, Tubes, etc would be great people to PM. Especially since I think Tubes makes the actual server payments.

Check to see if your video card is sharing the same IRQ with any other hardware.

Also, give PCI Latency tool a try. It can help clean up some lag. I've been using it for the last couple years. I set my video card latency to 64.

1) You are currently a 'member' of GC. You have posted in the members forum. Thats done. 2) When the sides are picked, you will select your respective army's 'usergroup'. At that point your army's forums will become available as your General (or HC) approves your application. Basically wait for noti...

Under clock your RAM, CPU and Video card (yes all 3) to see if that creates a difference at all. Some people had luck with dropping their RAM from 400 to 333.

Update your sound and video drivers.

Turn off the sound in the game and see if that helps.

here's some benchmarks http://www.gamepc.com/labs/view_content.asp?id=xeongaming&page=1 Its a couple year old article. They point out how at 533 bus the dual matches the single with 800 bus. Be interesting to see the same test with both at 800 bus. I think you would see an increase with the mem...
