You can, your best uninstalling any MB drivers etc. though - IMO MUCH better jsut to re-install from scratch (so dataloss in terms of Os/installed, not physical data)

Just noticed that when logging in to bf2 - I for one am going to buy it - after doing all map testing with you guys, it's really hard to find good balanced maps, so I think it's good value (free would be nicer!)
