I would recommend the "Generation Kill" Season one (it has only 1 season unfortunately..), it was a lot of fun, great acting and fraking epic tv-serie.

It's about USA troops invading closer and closer to bahgdad with missions and etc.

well thats not ww2, and has only one season since it was an HBO mini sieres, like band of brothers, and the pacific.

We should split the topic. Will check tomorrow, we had several movie threads already which we can continue. And obviously WWII has a whole bunch of subcategories (ground war, airforce, naval warfare, resistance, spys, warcrimes, civil life during the war ....)

anyway, to all movie fans: search in youtube for RiffTrax.
they are selling full movies from all times, with thier very funny comments in between lines.
funny is not a word. search for their fan vids in youtube.
