30 download, 3 upload. first time i actually get the 100% of the download speed i pay for, and not 80% or less. too bad our ISPs only care about download and theres no way to pump up the upload speed.
about using phone as a modem, i played 2 battle days and a black ops like this. using USB Tethering with my Nexus 4
all thats needed is to hook the phone to the computer using USB cable and let it install the driver automatically.
then in phone settings -> connections -> enable USB Tethering. a new network will pop on your computer, disable the other one (your default one, or just unplug it).
all i noticed was it gave about +30 ping in game. stable though.
another side effect i noticed is that it would disconnect, as in nothing would load/kicked out of game (timed out) after several hours, had to turn off - turn on the Tethering on the phone to access the internet again.

62 down isn't bad considering I only pay for 60. Although up is stupidly low in comparison...

I've currently got the best U.S. download (Minneapolis Comcast one) and best U.S. upload (is using work's wi-fi cheating? U of MN).
