Your like a brother to me = Kiss of Death

If you want a little insight to girls / women give this a read. Its alarmingly funny and yet has the ring of truth to it. I laughed to the point of tears the first time I read it.

I am sorry, but the ladder stuff doesn't quite explain this situation.

And I didn't propose, I didn't quite do anything else.

It is a really complicated situation, here is a shorthand of all of them.

1. We are from the same city in China, OUR PARENTS KNOWS EACH OTHER, AND WERE REALLY FAMILIAR WITH EACH OTHER.

2. She is really fun, and she defiantly enjoys spending time with me.

3. She already got ask out by a guy who is really rich and really handsome and she refuse.

4. She told me I am welcome at her place at anytime.

5. She said she's going to get into a relationship with a guy who I still haven't met, BUT I AM SURE SHE DID NOT SPEND AS MUCH TIME WITH HIM AS ME.

6. We really care about each other, we've been asking how each other is doing everyday.

I what, don't know anymore......

Some people just aren't meant to be bro. Shrug it off, get back on that horse and ride into the sunset.

I'm sorry buddy, but being told you're like a brother means it just ain't gonna happen. So now you need to work on getting over her and moving on. Ask out other girls.

Most importantly, if being around her keeps bringing up these feelings, you need to tell her that you need some space and to not see her for a while, until your feelings for her as more than a friend subside.

You gotta read it all - some of these guys already summed it up for you but here's the exact quotation:
Scenario 3: A girl says any of the following to you:
• "You're like a brother to me"
• "You're like a big teddy bear".
• "I feel like I can talk to you about anything"
• "You're so nice"
• "Can you help me with my homework"

Ladder Theory Explanation: You are on the friends ladder. So Sorry.

You can see that a lot of problems can be avoided(though sadly not problem two) by declaring as soon as possible to a girl that you will not be friends under any circumstances. You can explain that she is too attractive or you can be blunt and say you don't want to bend your "friends" over a table and frak them, but would rather play poker and go to the races with them, thus disqualifying her from friendship. As long as you are clear. This may scare a girl away. But if it does what would you want with such a skittish little twit anyway?.

Sorry to hear that Snow. My advice would be to give her some space and maybe in time she'll start to see things differently.

My other advice is to go study in the West Campus library. There are tons of hots over there!

I'll be in town for 3 or 4 home games this fall. Lets get together for a beer.
