Global Conflict

Well GC, this is it. I'm leaving for college tomorrow morning. At this time, it looks like I probably won't be able to continue with you all into BF4:C1. Partially because of the time commitment, and partially because I won't have the hardware to run the game. Mostly the hardware. (On that note, if anyone has a quad-core processor/motherboard they're willing to sell, either for a PC or a laptop, PM me and we'll talk.)

I've had so much fun, despite all the raging and gun glitches and my consecutive losing streak going back to C3. From the organized teamplay that GC is known for, to inter-campaign tournaments, to just pubbing around in BF3 and other games. I've made many friends here, and and had many laughs. It's kind of saddening to think that I won't be around to see how BF4 changes and shapes this community. And how I'll miss the Risk...

But I'll still be around on TS from time to time, I think. My laptop can run some games, like Dota or TF2. And hey, if anyone's up for some good old-fashioned BF2, I'm down for that too. And if I ever miss you guys, I know that I can always hop on TS and hear Flummi bitch about Duke, or Gwynzer calling me the sexiest man at GC. And it's possible I'll just be around to FC, depending on how Commander Mode works. (I'm not playing $60 for Commander mode only, but if I can pay $20 then we'll see.)

Regardless of what the future holds, know that you all have made the past few campaigns a memorable experience that I will take with me the rest of my life. (Is it sad that I'm going to fondly remember wasting over 6 hours on a Saturday for the rest of my life?)
