I'm sure I'll be watching the games as my friends and I play Axis and Allies this weekend. On the one hand, it's kind of boring that the four teams everyone expended to get this far got this far. On the other hand, we get another Brady vs. Manning faceoff and another round of the excellent San Fran vs Seattle rivalry.

I can't wait for both of the games.. GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's going to be a madhouse up here. I'm a little bit scared though. Hawks murdered the 49ers at home at the start of the season... but Wilson's passing game has sorta been in a bit of a slump. I know he's done well all season... but the pressure is onnnnn.

With that said, I hope Harvin comes back. Please. Please.

I keep thinking of Harvin as a delicate porcelain doll that's ready to break at the slightest touch. It scares me. Supposed to find out whether or not he can play this game today or tomorrow..

I honestly feel that the championships were rigged so that it would be Manning vs Brady in the AFC, and they are thrilled that it's Seattle vs San Fran in NFC (and they would have been thrilled with Carolina as well) because now they are guaranteed a "master vs student" young QB vs older proven QB super bowl. It's all a ratings driven crapshoot anymore, and the NFL has lost all of it's draw it had for me when younger. It's full of lazy offensive/defensive line play, caters to QBs and the officiating is atrocious on the best of days, with garbage holding calls and even more non-calls on egregious penalties all the time.

Russell Wilson is an outstanding human being and I wish Seattle the best of luck, if only for him.

I personally feel this weekend matches might be better than the one in the Super Bowl. The matchups are just too good. For the Super Bowl, I'd favor a Seattle vs. Denver matchup due to the storyline of the best defense vs. the best offense.

Sucks Harvin won't play this Sunday. I'd really hope he'll play in the Super Bowl if the Hawks win.

I now really want a Seattle vs. Denver Super Bowl in case Manning is forced out into early retirement due to neck evaluation in the Spring. Tension is killing all the fans up here.
