other Communities/platoons

Since global conflict only arranges matches once a week, I have been looking for similar communities which would arrenge them on some other day than saturday so that I semi seriously more often. Can you guys suggest me anything? I tried googling furiously but didn't find anything nearly as good as Global-Conflict.

One addition is that it would be better if they were on EU.

There is DarkStar Gaming. I've only ever heard of them, never played with them so don't know what they are like. From a breif gander, it looks like they play on an East Cost US server on a Sunday at 17:00 GMT. They are the only Sunday tournament I've ever head of but that isn't to say that there aren't more.

Imo, GC is currently the place to be for 32v32 organized matches. No other community can come even close to filling a full server on battle-day. Most of the other "32v32" communities only play on NA servers as well. If you really want more organized games, I'd recommend DSG on Sundays.

Me, Cog, and Tea checked out DSG today and were put onto the same team. It was pretty fun. Overall, they use a similar style to GC in teamspeak (grouping armour and air, each infantry squad being led by one channel commander, and a general over all of them). Their server settings seem to be mostly default, with no 3d spotting and FF on. Pretty much the only thing they have banned for weapons is Active Radar missiles for the MAA, though when we were playing i pretty much never died to stuff that we normally have banned (though i used every battlepickup i got my hands on). Also, their games seem to go for 8 freaking hours, that's insane to me, there's no way ill play the whole 8 hours every sunday. Overall though, with planetside being more boring with little hope of the Devs fixing it (many were fired), it's not a bad place to go and play some battlefield on sunday.

Yeah DSG was pretty fun IMO, it's definitely the place to be on sundays if you want to get your wargasm on
