I hate asking for help...

So i really hate asking for things like this and especially relying on people from the internet but here it goes.

My sister is getting married this July and I really want to be there. I spent 8 years in the US Marine Corps and during that time i missed out on a lot of my friends weddings. Now im studying in Paris (taking adavantage of a great opportunity). Paris is a really expensive city and im on a really tight budget. Plane tickets back to the US are also pretty expensive and no matter how i try to get there its always around $1400. So i have resorted to asking for donations on the internet through Go Fund Me.

Now before anyone says that i have mismanged funds or i should have known better let me state that my current budget is perfetly livable. Its tight but livable. I even can manage to save enough to take a vacation every year around xmas. I did this in december without expecting my sister to be getting married in July. so obviously i dont have the funds saved to just buy a ticket.

Im kind of putting myself out there now (name and picture) asking for any help i can get. Any little bit will help even if you just share it with someone else. If you cant or dont want to thats no problem. im not going to have any hard feelings.

A lot of my family is in the military and I hope to join the Austrlaian armed forces one day. I cant give much but ill send you $20 dollars to help out. Appoligies I cant do more but unfortiuunatly I am a student myself so dont have lots of money

I tried to use my 3v visa card but it got declined somehow and there's no other method of paying
