New a favour from our American friends

Hey guys, whats up.

I need to buy a holiday gift for a family member and she wants a media streamer and I find that Google's new Chromecast to be exactly what she needs. Best Buy currently does two Chromecasts for 50$ but ofc they don't ship abroad.
So I kindly ask someone from the States to buy me this pack and sends it to me to Slovenia. I can do PayPal.

here's the link to the item(s): BestBuy

The offer will probably expire today so it would have to be sooner than later. You can take one of the chargers as the other Chromecast will be for me and I have no need for a US charger.

Thanks for checking this thread :)

I'll see if I can't get a hold of family in time, but if it expires today might be hard D:

Edit: Can you do with just one? It's limited to one order per customer and apparently they already ordered, unless someone else can do it

Does Google ship to you? They have the same deal. https://store.google.com/product/chromecast_2015

Unfortunately not yet Disco.

Viper thanks for offering your help, I really appreciate it but its such a good deal getting two that I'll first try to snag that.

I'm currently in talks with Fields who has also offered to help. Thanks all!

Totally down to help. If it doesn't work out with Fields, let me know. Also, just as an fyi, due to taxes in different states, it will make an impact on final price.

For example, sales tax in Seattle is 9.6%.. :(. In Oregon, it is 0%.

I'm from Seattle.. So yeah. Basically 10% sales tax on anything I buy.. :( I think it's the highest in the US actually. On the other hand, no state income tax! I guess it works to my favor since I don't really buy too many things.

Glad to hear that it panned out with Fields!

10% isn't that bad when compared to our tax which is at 22%. 22% off of your salary, 22% on top of everything you buy or consume.

I think that works out similar to ours. We still get taxed on the Federal level and for property.

So you guys have a sales tax and a a 22% income tax?

Yep and we also get taxed on property since 2 years ago. Luckily our house got undervalued so its not too bad. But they keep on trying to think of new things to tax...

Yowch.. I hope your guys' taxes are going into things that benefit you... like education/healthcare/etc. But at this point, we might be venturing a bit into the politics of things so we might want to stop here for sake of following GC rules...
