1 more week delay= one more post counting down with Vietnam war events.

August 18, 1966: The Battle of Long Tan, between the Australian Army and Viet Cong forces in a rubber plantation near the village of Long Tần, South Vietnam on 18 August 1966. It is arguably the most famous battle fought by the Australian Army during the Vietnam War.

unlike playing the map of Chu chi with its ville and rubber plantation, that battle was not fun at all.
just by typing long tan you can read on google or watch on youtube a surprising amount of footage.
