OPK problems (resolved)

When I start OPK, I get the following error.

mods/bf2/shaders/staticmesh.fx not found!!!
_DO_ check your working directory
_AND_ sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP (really!)

easy, follow these simple steps:

Grab your computer -> throw it out the window -> go to computer store -> buy a brand new computer -> install BF2 -> you're good to go!

Seriously (not that the previous was a joke ), go to your documents folder, search for battlefield 2, find your profile, and erase the shader files. get in game, and optimize the shaders again.

missing a file the game expects in the mod folder isnt a good sign. May require a re-download/re-install and question why your hard drive would lose the file.

2nd part is cryptic. I'd clear everything in your BF2 cache folder in My Documents.

Reinstalling did the trick

At my first install, I click off the options for the shortcut on the desktop.
Second time I left everything on default.

I DL 0.18. and good to go.

I have that same problem. Solved by running BF2 and then changing the mod in the communities section to OPK.
