So I think 660 should do but if I get an SSD as well I might get the TI just in case I want some candy from time to time. It really depends from where I order, from DE it will take a week or so from SI only 2-3 days.
As I said, it's your choice!

And the 660 would do 30 fps at Ultra settings... But that's a bit low fps if you ask me..(higher is better, or at least as high your Display supports)

I am thinking of this: http://btracunalniki.si/sl/p/6314/msi-g ... ii-oc.html

Is this what you recommend? Price seems nice too.

How expensive are the Radeons near your area? Generally speaking AMD cards tend to perform better than their Nvidia counterparts in BF3 at high resolutions with Anti-Aliasing.

Tthat's not completely true, it's just who get's the better drivers out. But around that price i'd say

The new 7870 XT, it performs better than a GTX 660 at least... But I thought he wanted the "green camp".

The cheapest I could find is this: http://www.sestavi.si/index.php/item/display/23231

So about 15€ difference.

My screen res is 1920x1200 but I will be playing BF3 at 1200x920. My eyes suck and cant see small objects.

Am I seeing this right - the 660 only requires one 6 pin power connector opposed to 2x6pin on 660Ti and 7870XT. My PSU is 6 years old.

Ohw yeah, forgot about your PSU ;)

Soo your PSU is 6 Years old, how much Wattage can it provide? and the Model/Brand?

Otherwise get a new one Corsair CX600 or something... They're reliable and not too expensive, because PSU's are things you don't want to cheap out on. If they die, they can take your whole system with 'em.

EDIT:

ugh now I look lazy, yes, 720 Watts should be enough.(battlelog)

Thanks! Well I did build this PC by myself and most components haven't been updated and are still running strong for 6 years now. GFX card is plug and play and SSD is for a different PC so I should be gaming within a week. :)

I usually do not buy OC cards, because they cost more for a few extra MHz you can add yourself. The card itself is almost always the same as the 'stock' version.

But enjoy your new card! (Put that BF3 on High Quality)

The normal non OCed, non Twin Frozr is 10€ cheaper but doesn't have the same cooler. I think Twin Frozr cooler is worth 10€.
