Randomly getting logged out

I wonder what would have caused this.

Changed the cookie path so it will work without the www.

That's when I had my (new) problems.

I too had to manually delete all of my GC cookies in Firefox to be able to login.

Styphon, if you're going to do that to the forums you should post a guide letting people know how to delete their old cookies. If you don't know what to do you can't login to your account anymore.

Logging out and back in again solved it for me. Should be all you need to do as that should delete any cookies.

It said I was logged out all the time, I couldn't log in to log out.

OK, I'll make a new post and sticky it for a while then on how to clear cookies in different browsers.

Ignore my last post. It just happened to me again on a machine that I hadn't used with GC before (Macbook, Firefox, NoScript). I browsed to the newposts link without being logged in, allowed the relevant domains in NoScript, and every login attempt kept logging me in and straight back out again. Fun with phpBB.

Deleting all global-conflict.org cookies, restarting Firefox, and logging into the login box on the right of the main page fixed it. Presto fixo!
