Randomly getting logged out

I have also noticed being logged out while browsing the site. It doesn't happen at a predictable page but occasionally I click to reply and am told I am not logged in. Additionally the site never remembers me when I return after closing the page even if I check "remember me" while logging in.

I'm not browsing at home, so I'm on IE9. The operating system is Windows 7 SP1.

I saw this happening the other day and noticed it was due to whether the address was global-conflict.org or www.global-conflict.org (i.e. with and without the hostname). If you insert "www." to the URL on a page that shows you as logged out, it works fine. For me, at least.

Thank you for mentioning that. Finally fixed it. Changed the cookie path so it will work without the www.

Well now for me, It's not working *with* the WWW.

Infact, it doesn't even let me log in. I log in, it says "Successful", but as soon as the logged in page brings me back to the forum view, I'm logged out.

Deleting my existing cookie for www. has solved the problem.

Logging out and back in again will solve the issue.

Confirmed - nothing short of deleting all cookies stored for global-conflict.org will resolve the issue.

Okay there is something funky going on. I cannot log in using Chrome. I am currently on Firefox. When I logged in it said: "Not authorized to read this forum."

I deleted my cookies in Chrome and was able to log in now. Not sure why we are all having these issues all of a sudden. I tried purging cache and cookies in ACP to no avail.

Same thing here, logged out when attempting to reply to a thread. Couldn't get back in till I cleared cookies in both FF and IE. However, IE still doesn't work.

deleeting the GC-cookies in firefox worked for me. My ipad was giving me a hard time though. After deleting these fruiting cookies for 5 times it is now working ... keeping my fingers crossed.

I wonder what would have caused this. I read somewhere that phpbb has bugs. But something must have triggered it. When I was reading the forum on my phone at work about 3 hours ago everything worked fine.
Hey Sushi do you have the iPad 1? Will you get the iPad 3? I am thinking of getting one of these pads for myself.
