I dont know if this will help but place this into the plugins folder of your TS3 Directory in your computer

I got it to work a week ago using this forum tip:

short and kind of english
1. set origin to not be activated in the game
2. TS activate DirectX Overlay Plugin, set DirectX Overlay Plugin settings to Enforceloading
that`s all
3. shall work now without crash
4. put overlay where you want it
hope it helps someone

Awesome tutorial, thanks Bly and Fanne! I got it working immediately.

BTW, I moved this to the tech support & help forum so others can find it more easily.

Indeed Origin is the devil. I couldn't figure out how to get this to work and then all the sudden disabling origin made it work. The game patched this week and all the sudden it wasn't working again...then I discovered origin had set itself to run during game again  And here I was accusing BLYFACTOR of trying to make my game crash all the time

So we are all in agreement, then? It's all Blyfactor's fault?

I have been experimenting with the overlay position, here are some of my findings.

Image
Here is the overlay options, these can be found from clicking on settings>Plugins>Directx overlay plugin>Click on the plugin and then click settings at the bottom of the list>A window will open called "overlay options">Click on the display tab

The overlay position is by per pixel from the top right corner of your display. keeping that in mind here are some tips for easy positioning.

The overlay is what shows who is talking, by default it is blocking part of the chat box. To move it we want to alter the X and Y positions. I decided I wanted my overlay to be displayed on the right hand side. To do this I changed the "Overlay initial X position" if you want yours on the right side you have too keep in mind the width of your overlay. Mine is 150, So I will need to at-least leave 150 pixels. For instance my resolution is 1680x1050 so I subtract 150-1680 leaving me with 1530, I then added a small buffer area of 30 pixels leaving me at 1500. Next we want to put it below the info box at the top but not cover up the ammo at the bottom, For my size 275 pixles works perfectly.
Image
When setting the overlay to the right hand side, keep in mind the initial width.

The logo is a very small team speak logo, by default it is at the bottom right hand corner. I have found no use for this logo so I have opted to remove it. As setting X 0 Y 0 does not remove an icon, we need to make sure it is transparent. this is accomplished by setting both your min and max logo alphas to 0. If you wish to keep the logo I suggest setting it to one of your bottom corners. This would be done by setting your y position to your max.
Image
Setting both Logo alpha min and Logo alpha max to 0 will leave us with no logo.

You can move the overlay while in game with (default) scroll lock, but it will not save the position for next time. If you right click on the overlay there are a couple of settings. One of the useful ones is changing the overlay to show more than just your immediate channel.

So i got the overlay and all the other stuff but now my mouse doesnt work ingame anymore so i can only spawn with my keyboard. Any idea how to solve this ?

It seems to be stuck in the overlay or something cause i can move the overlay without having to activate my mouse so i tried some things with the overlay>settings>input but that didnt work aswell.
