Laptop - Oversensitive/Crazy Key

I'm running Ubuntu on my HP Pavilion ze2000, and it's got this F11 key that loves to just activate like mad. It seems to be related to flex, since grabbing the opposite diagonal corners of the main body and flexing it one way will stop it if it's happening, and flexing the other way can start it when it's not happening.
NOTE: The key itself is not sticky, just very sensitive - lightly brushing it can send a keypress - or five.

Any suggestions?

Did you try taking the key out to see if there are any visual defects?

My guess is the bubble has failed. Usually means new keyboard or completely disable that key.

Figured I'd add closure to my question.
Yeah, visual inspection didn't uncover anything.

The Fix I used:
in Ubuntu (Linux), you can run the command 'xev' which will show you keycode information for each key pressed, then you use the line: xmodmap -e 'keycode number = NoSymbol'
Totally disabling the key in the OS - still beeps like nuts on boot, though.
