BF3 Stuck on Initializing on Co-Op

Dear Fellow Members,

I wanted to ask your help regarding this prob i have. I have tried everything on the net regarding this and nothing seems to work for me.

The problem is that when i select play Co-op, choose Public Matchmake for example, the system will find me a player and then it will get stuck on the "Initializing" box....FOR EVER! I can see BF3.exe running in the background but the game will not start at all.

I don't use Avast which seems to be the problem for the bulk of ppl.

Got any ideas what can I do? It started happening after the latest patch.

Have you tried restarting Origin / re log into battlelog?

In general Coop is a bit dodgy. Try doing it with different people.

What Antivirus do you use instead of Avast? Have you tried disabling it?

yeap on both!

i use mse..and turned off the realtime scan but nothing

I read somewhere that you can try starting a normal game and exit after it starts, then hit the co-op one (or something of the sort)

I would recommend just trying it with various people on your friendslist. Sometimes it's just that certain combinations don't work.

yupiee!! that worked!! I was in a server, atl+tabbed and select co-op...it was able to find me a player and start the mission!!
at last all weapons unlocked
