Embedded video on ABC home & sign-up form

Post by Evil_Jocey »

Apparently I am the only one stupid enough to have this problem.

The embedded Campaign Sign Up Tutorial video on the ABC home screen superimposes itself over the Draft sign up form, making it pretty much impossible to fill it out.

Has anyone an idea how to make it...stop?

I had the same problem.Press Alt+minus several times and you should be able to fill it.You may also have to press plus once or twice.
EDIT:Do it before pressing ''ENTER DRAFT''.

You could also just go to another page in ABC and then click the button.

Alt + minus or plus does not help anything against the superimposition of the embedded video.

But the form can be opened from the control panel (not from Battle Day signup or Armies), so that way seems to work.

The embedded video is still stupid.

Thanks, guys!

I hate you, Flummi.

Well, it is more a work around than a fix. As far as I could find that problem has something to do with how the video is embedded into the site, with the layers and crap. About which I do know nothing else. ^_^

Since neither Rob nor .Sup were online, I went ahead and fixed it. Atleast I think I did; I never got the issue, so I can't verify that it's actually fixed. I also took the freedom of changing it to "Campaign 6 is now live"...

If you want to do me a favour, could you (the people who had the issue) open the page again and use your browser's JavaScript console (Ctrl+Shift+C in Chrome, Ctrl+Shift+K in Firefox) to run this line:

Code: Select all

$('.sign-up-box').fadeIn(500);
and tell me if it sill overlaps?
