No idea about Wireshark either, but there are a lot of guides out there. This one seemed pretty informative http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pk4OfsxxB4g

I think PB uses TCP protocol while BF uses UDP.
These are the ports the game uses:
TCP: 80, 443, 9988, 20000-20100, 22990, 17502, 42127
UDP: 3659, 14000-14016, 22990-23006, 25200-25300

I tried joining servers with different ports, but that doesn't seem to be it, i was able to join both standard 25200 port and non standard ports, and get kicked from others as well.
the amount of players doesn't seem to effect either, i get kicked from empty servers too.

also, on some of the servers im able to play my ping shows normally on the scoreboard, but others just show a minus (-) sign instead.

bah.

Those are the ports that should be open on your side. Not the server ports.

You can try to manually open them in the router. You can also use that to filter out crap you don't need in the Wireshark log.

Did you try to disable the router firewall (assuming there is one)?

Take you box to a buddies house and see if you can play.
If yes, then you know its either your ISP or Modem/Router.
If no, then its your box.
