PB kick - No Packet Flow

I'm constantly getting kicked after about 1 minute from servers by Punkbuster for "No Packet Flow".
reinstalled the services, deleted punkbuster folder from everywhere, updated again using pbsetup, disabled firewall, antivirus, everything, nada.

still kicks.
everything else works. i can play without a problem for about a minute, my internet connection is fine.
punkbuster client log shows everything is good
[07.04.2013 14:31:42] pb_MsgPrefix = PunkBuster Client
[07.04.2013 14:31:42] pb_Sleep = 60 (20 to 500)
[07.04.2013 14:31:42] pb_LogToFile = 1 (0=No, 1=Yes)
[07.04.2013 14:31:42] pb_SsLog = 1 (0=No, 1=Yes)
[07.04.2013 14:31:42] pb_SsSave = 1 (0=No, 1=Yes)
[07.04.2013 14:31:42] PunkBuster Client (v2.325 | A0) Enabled
[07.04.2013 14:31:43] Game Version [1147186]
[07.04.2013 14:31:43] Not Connected to a Server
[07.04.2013 14:31:46] PB Services socket initialized
[07.04.2013 14:31:48] Connected to Server 173.199.75.144:25230
[07.04.2013 14:31:49] PnkBstrA successfully loaded PnkBstrB
[07.04.2013 14:31:52] PnkBstrB service installed and started successfully
weird thing is i can play in some servers, and absolutely no way to play on others, located in the same region.

i had this problem on the past two battledays, and after enough re-joinings i was able to play.

:?

Have you played BF4 Alpha Trial?
I got Punkbuster problems, packet flow - invalid memory - no response, etc when playing BF4 Alpha Trial and then, of course, same problems started happening on BF3.
Reinstalled PB, services and all that and it seems to be working somewhat stable at the moment, but still get random kicks.
I do make sure to Test services (pbsvc.exe) first and after test I manually start the PnkBstrB service before I join any BF3 server.

No i don't have BF4 alpha
services tests all come out green.
PunkbusterA and B services start normally, they are both present in Task Manager when the game is launched.
if i get passed that first minute, i rarely get disconnected later, and if i do its due to EA lost connection or something, not related to PB.

i have no problem connecting and playing on some servers, but others simply wont work no matter how hard i try.
as GC also kicks me, may i ask the TAs to make sure the PB server is updated on our servers?

this is frustrating.
I was able to find a server i didn't disconnect from at noon, but now i tried like 10 different servers and i get kicked from all of them

Out of the blue, uninstall your current Anti Virus and try a different one. Is your internet connection solid? Cant really help you as only Evenbalance can help you solve PB problems.

GSP's have very little control (and us as paying server renters) that we cant dictate PB other than off/on.

When all else fails, re-install.

re-installed, did not help.

here is the weird thing, i can play on this one
81.30.149.116:27816

but not on this one
81.30.149.116:27716

as you see, its the same box.
the port is an unusual one, i couldn't find another server with the same port to test it.
but honestly it shouldn't matter, there is nothing unique about this port.
so i'm really lost.

very strange, can you contact someone useful at your ISP?
Maybe they blacklisted some IP ranges/ports for some reason.

i also suspect the ISP might be blocking something, cus even on the servers i able to play, i don't have a ping listed (lists --- instead).

but they'll disregard my claims unless i have some kind of proof, so i can say "i tested that, and it says ..."

i tried
http://www.ipfingerprints.com/portscan.php
but with the windows firewall on, it all comes out "filtered".
when i turn off windows firewall, it all comes out "closed". shouldn't it all be "open" when the firewall is down?
i still able to surf the internet and everything, so it can't be port 80 is closed.

Everything fine here?: http://www.pingtest.net/

My previous anti-vir program (avast) would also block the ping-counter on battlelog (later it would block me from joining servers, lol...I changed to windows security essentials) Have you tried disabling/changing the anti-vir?

"closed" is fine:
quote:
A "closed" port means that it is responding to packets sent by the port scanner, however no application is listening on that port.

try turning off your antivirus and firewall completely, then reboot the PC, then make sure everything is still off and try to join a server. Does it work now?

Also, when you turn off your firewall go to control panel -> administrative tools -> Windows firewall with advanced securtiy, in the center box does it say that all 3 (Domain, private, public) are turned off?

Check if you have 4 lines of Battlefield 3 in the "inbound rules" and whether every lines says "enabled", "allowed" and "any".

Check if BF3 is in the "outbound rules" (it shouldn't be) and if it is, check if it is blocked (it shouldn't be).

Check if you have any items in the "connection security rules".

im not running those "home suit" antivirus's that you don't really know what they do or not do.
but i tried disabling it anyway, and the windows firewall, and it didn't help.
PB and BF3 are both set correctly in windows firewall.

pingtest line quality comes out as A "an excellent result".

and i can see pings on the battlelog/browser, i don't have ping in-game.
i first thought a too high value is being displayed as -, but it doesn't show my ping even when the game is smooth.

What about the router?

Maybe try the Wireshark thing suggested here to monitor the network traffic when the disconnect occurs. Might give an insight about what's going on.

Also (from the same doc)
Another common issue which affects PC and consoles is the uPnP setting in the routers.
Following the manual from your router manufacturer, go in to your router control panel and enable/disable uPnP (the opposite of whatever is active at the time) and try BF3 again.

tried the uPnP - didn't help.
i have Wireshark logs, do you know how interpret them? i've looked through them and i don't know how to tell whats what. whats BF3, whats PB, whats other stuff....
