looking for ancient Ram sticks

Post by Digz »

For me olden rig...
since It still working with bf4 although bought for BC2.
this link (thanks to necro):
http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Me ... 55m-s2.pdf
shows the ram sticks that work on the old battered thing.
of course I can't find any to ship from inside the country here. or anywhere on the net.

so if you guys know where they sell, and ship World Wide,
please help and share the links to the old ram sticks..
of course 2 # I would like to buy 2 stick of 4 ram, which narrows down the list.
and will help with BF4. ATM cannot play on 64 servers.

thanks and happy national day of...something of your choice. since almost every day of the year
is for something..

This list is for verified RAM sticks. Meaning if they have x.m.p profiles they will be identified.
It doesn't mean you can't use other sticks.

'Scuse my ignorance, but all those sticks are DDR3. Can't you just get any reliable DDR3 from your favourite local/online retailer since it's probably the most common form of ram on the market at the moment. A quick google of H55M-S2 shows that your MoBo (assuming it's a GA-H55M-S2 (rev. 1.3) ) can run 1.5v RAM sticks. As far as I know (and I may be wrong) DDR3 is DDR3, most sticks out there should work.

Or am I missing something?

What voltage do you need? The earliest DDR3 ram required 1.9V
