How to get lower cpu tem. solved

Today i install 4 rubber washer behind back plate. Temp. is 10 degrees lower in idle and 20+ degrees when full load.
Befor washers i have idle 50 full load ower 90 degrees @4.5Ghz :roll:
All Corsair water coolers H100 need rubber washers!

Funny thing, I have the same Corsair Hydro Cooling, got it a week ago, and I have the same problem.
I think the problem is that the cooler doesn't get the contact needed with the parts that is included in the package, but with your washers you might be able to tighten the screws a bit more and get better contact between cpu and cooler.
I changed the cooling paste from the original to Zalman also, that gave me a better temp as well.
But what I already said, I don't think that "universal kit" works for all motherboards.
I'm gonna try your thing and see what happens, where did you buy the washers, just any store?

I'd prolly go with a nylon washer as rubber doesn't age well around heat.

i have Prolimatech Megahalems + 2 fans, nilons are certainly better, rubber is good to :thumbup:
