Post by FinalStand »

I love Voice Overlay for BF2, but when ever i alt+tab the game crashes. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

You should NEVER EVER alt-tab in bf2. Always use ctrl-alt-del . It is stated in the readme quite prominently . I was surprised to learn that there were many that are unaware of this fact.

hmm.. i guess i should read the readme :-)

for me, i am using voice-overlay with BF2 and ALT-TAB works like a charm.. no problem whatsoever.

But maybe you should post your bug-report/question in the voice-overlay forum at http://www.voice-overlay.info.ms/

Gribble, you are my hero!

I can use alt\tab unless logging on a server, then I lose my game. Otherwise no problem.

I alt-tab all the time and never had a problem. I know having some extra memory helps. As does having your O/S pretty streamlined. And having a decent cpu, etc helps too.

I don't think BF2 supports it. But neither did '42 from what I remember. And I did it all the time there too.
