BF2 Version? [RESOLVED]

Ok, I've not played BF2 for ages, and tried to start it up today but when I try to connect to any server, it just crashes to desktop.

I am almost certain I have all the required patches installed, but best way to find out is to ask you lot what version should it say in the top right hand corner when I'm in the menu screen? This way I can ensure I have everything correctly installed.

Keep in mind that I have SF installed (don't know if it changes anything).

Latest (and stand alone patch) is 1.12. If you've bought SF you need to (re)install 1.12 after it.

One way I stay current is to us XFire. You can set it to auto chack for any patches you need on any games you have installed. It's also a great way to keep in touch with GC guys.

Thanks guys.

I needed to do a clean install of BF2. My computer had somehow lost track of the fact that I had BF2 insalled, even though it was there. So I had to manually remove it and then go through the registry to remove it too so the thing would install! Loads of fun!

But it seems to work now, so all is good.
