Where and How do I place the maps in BF2 so they are available?

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels

there you should have the folders for the maps (if you haven't installed your game to C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2 you have to modify that path)

Also with the installer that GC (thanks to the effort of our Maptesting/installerconverting team is using) is using you wouldn't have to bother since the installer finds the correct place where to put the maps when running it.
