Actually there was little time to strategize considering the time we had however the late notice was not the difference. This was a clan that plays together a lot as most do and we never play outside of our battles (there are a few that do but…). This leads to getting your ass handed to you when we don’t play by our rules.

The way we swap people around in between camp’s leads to this as well. Our squads were set up with 15 minutes to go so the people didn’t even know who they would fight with. I think if you have one of these at the end of a camp using the squads that worked together during the camp you might see different results.

We also have players that have equal skill or better so that is not the issue either. It was the way they used the game that was the determining factor. They did not cheat they just know how to use the games many flaws to achieve what they want.

I will not participate in any further scrims as I see them as a waste.

One more thing. In the future I would suggest that having conversations about people in the default TS channel is not wise. If you choose to slam people please do it in a private channel.

Dont read too much negativity in my post. I posted what are the common problems and predictable outcome with fighting outside groups. Its the same exact problems that the competition teams encountered over and over. People end the match with a bad taste in their mouth after playing against a group that plays together 3-5 days a week.

It was good to hear that the squads were organized and effective. Also that the server was full the whole time.
Then if GC does scrim again, all that needs works is preplanning and practicing those plans.

Even with no rules, GC would have prolly done twice as good if there was a 2 hour practice before the match. Proper round starts and identifying weak points before (not during) the match makes a huge difference.

Sry I missed it fella's. The wife and I were a little busy, had a baby on wednesday!

Don't let a bad match get ya down too much. Scrims can be great for bringing in new members and getting the GC name out there.

It has already been posted but I would like to reiterate that GC does not play BF as most others play it. Clans break the game down into a series of game-exploiting manuevers which if not countered in kind will always win. That IMO is boring and not worth playing at all. That is why GC exists, to give recreational players a place to play organized BF combat.

See ya in the sh#t!!
