I am sitting here watching this file download and still have time to watch my grass grow outside.........I hope this is a temporary issue.

From: http://europe.global-conflict.org/maps/ ... siege2.exe

To: My Documents\My Downloads

Speed: 5.67 kbs

Time left: 3 hours 13 mins

Does anyone know why we have such a low download speed available?

This file is 64 megs and should be finished in minutes not hours, eh?

Winter

Goes at (my) full speed Winter. It is most likely due to some routing issue between you and the the Euro server.

Glad for you Morph. I will try it again today. Might have been the time of day or a net tangle tween here and there.. It is a long way from here to the Euro file server........a loooooooooong way!

btw: Do you know where Rota, Spain is? I moved there when I was 1 month old and lived there till I was 3 yrs old. Learned Spanish before I learned English. My dad was stationed at the then new, American Submarine base.

Good times..............good times...............lol 8O

Added later after retrying download:

I guess it was temporary as I now am enjoying a 375 kps plus DL speed. Thanks to everyone who cared enough to respond to my inquiry above.

Hey Morp,

No comprende espanol. Muy stupido, si?

Funny thing that. I can't speak much at all and in school (16 yrs worth), it was the only subject I ever failed. Spanish 101 in my freshman yr of high school.

I have been told that the way spanish is taught in school and the way it is spoken in places where it is the common language is totally different and I may have sub-consciously refused to learn it that way in school.

I just know it is one of the little mysteries of my life that I will always wonder about.

Mucho Gracias Senor Morpeus
