BC2 has been an issue. I think PCGamers expect every release to be the next great game. EA could have saved themselves a lot of negative attention by announcing that it was not. Of course for them to do that sounds counter to common sense, however I think they would have sold more copies on PC if they had. PCGamers are much more 'involved'. That does not mean they are more frugal than the console players, but negative press will kill a game in the PC format.

thur, EA just capitalized huge on the whole codmw2 fiasco just by stating that they were keeping dedicated servers, there is very little they can do short of killing the pc gaming community (see: IW) that can paint them bad right now. IW screwed up so hard I don't think people care too much about EA's previous badness cause the cod franchise just got boned.

At last i'm thinking *hey they're doing BFBC2 for PC too as they know we're waiting for something new BF for PC and "BF3" will take some time - that's cool*

Guess i'll pitch that in, just to clear my conscience

BBC2 will not be available for retail until probably Mai or even September of 2010.
The simple fact that DX11 support is intended, required the Frostbite Engine to be altered.
So the PC engine will be Frostbite 2 ... and meanwhile the eager listening customers need to be kept ...
