I'm sure they want to join to play organized. I don't see any harm in adding unknown players.

We're already over half way to the maximum number of players in a platoon. Adding anyone and everyone that wants to join is just going to get us in a situation sooner where we have to kick people to make room for actual GC players.

I see. Very good point. I was assuming you can add unlimited number of people as I have seen hundreds being added on Steam groups.

Yeah, as it stands now platoons are capped at 100 members, but an unlimited number of people can be fans of a platoon. A lot of people have complained, so that limit might get raised in the future. In the meantime, though, I want to keep membership limited to people that have at least some association with GC.

You can create an auxillary platoon if the limit it hit. Then the inactive people can be put to rest there. You can be in more than 1 platoon. I'd rather worry about the 100 limit when we hit 90.

They'd have to be invited to that platoon and accept, though. It's not like we can just move them from one platoon to another.
