that dld-speed reminds me of what I saw when dlding the last patch, I guess I will have to run it over this coming night, when I am back from work.

Did they include the Karkand maps or why is the patch that big?

I have it patched :P

Here are a couple quick screenshots I made:

IRNV is still strong though admittedly weaker and has reduced range. Chat box is fixed, ping is now showing although not mine for some odd reason. Flashlight still seems very much blinding.

Admittedly I haven't played much with IRNV prior to the patch only about 10 minutes but it seemed clearer before to see enemy targets than it is now. Maybe someone who has played more with it can clarify.

They seem to be celebrating the fact that it's been heavily nerfed on the EAUK forums so I guess it's been improved. I'll have to see for myself though.

Range is massively reduced.
Seems to have a constant fog effect.
Enemies no longer glow like a post apocalyptic christmas tree.

It is now possible to sneak around in the undergrowth without being spotted from miles away .

does it actually block the passage? that would be a strong disadvantage for the US team I suppose.
