Unit, the events may not go in the order they're listed in the main post. We will see how things look when the start time Saturday rolls around.

Spoke with Robawillis earlier. He's going to be joining me and Goggles for the 3 man battle racer.

How does the tank battle work?
And that pit on Square for knife fights is a bit small. Hard to move in there.

Yep, even people that don't want to play in the games are welcome to watch.

The pit on Karkand is chosen exactly BECAUSE it's so darn small. Remember that frontal knife hits aren't instant kill in BF3.

Tank battle is simple: 4 tanks start at the X marks, all facing "out." Signal is given, and you can fight and manouver inside the red square. Last tank standing wins.

Can't friggin wait although I am a terrible driver and never knifed in BF3 yet. But knowing how well the vehicles behave in this game I'm not worried at all.

Here is the 64 version if I got the track right:

Yep, you nailed it. Like I said, we will be going over the course before the races start. I will also probably give everyone some "pregame" time for warmups, goofing off, etc before we start the events. Since people will actually need to be somewhat well behaved during the actual games, I figure giving everyone a chance to get the silliness out of their systems first will be nice.

I know I'm too late but if there are any free slots left in the events I'll gladly fill them tonight.

Didn't know till now if I can make it.

The first GC olympics in BF3 were a success, I think. Results have been posted to the original post, as well as a link to upcoming video links and raw footage of the events.
