There's quite a wait till it's released, but it sounds awesome!
I guess this also means there probably wont be any new maps in the upcoming update as some have been hoping for.
gameinformer wrote:Following up its first download expansion Back to Karkand, DICE today revealed plans to bring three more expansions to Battlefield 3 starting this June.

Coming this June first to PlayStation 3, Close Quarters focuses on tight infantry battles with smaller maps and includes 10 more weapons.

The third expansion is called Armored Kill. DICE says its all about the vehicle experiences and it has the largest multiplayer map the developer has ever created.

The final expansion reveled is called End Game, but DICE is not talking about it at all right now. Pricing detailes for these expansions were not announced.

Battlefield 3 continues to be a massive success for EA. To date, the publisher has shipped 12 million copies of the game since February.

first pack sounds like a lot more metro style :P

4 Metro style maps doesn't captivate me but the 2nd expansion sounds like it could be great. A new map which is bigger than El Alamein? 8O

Edit: Hmm, it seems that the Close Quarters expansion maps are for 2-16 players so I guess I won't be buying it.

They sure are greedy, 3 expansions, probably 10$€ a pop instead of one expansion containing all three mentioned above for 10 or 15$€.

offscreen footage.
To be honest, this map looks like complete and utter suckage.
I'll wait for Armored Kill.

But on the lighter side of things, there are hints to BLACKHAWKS!

DiCE is ripping off CoD...again.

Wake me up when the armor DLC comes out, and I might start to care.

Skipping the close quarters, but the second; and third maybe really depends on what actually is in the release.
