Just curious, how many of you have BF2?

I'd love to play BF2 again, maybe on a Sunday or something. And I'm wondering if everybody has it -- it would be pretty sweet to mix BF2 and BF3 in the campaign

I can't decide between option three and four. What was great about BF2?

That could make GC a little less accessible to newcomers.

I bought it and all the expansions on Steam a while back for $5. I tried playing but I kept getting kicked, for Punkbuster reasons. Plus, when it was installed, BFBC2 wouldn't work (Punkbuster again) so I just uninstalled it. I'd love to try getting it working though.

Might have been steam in game overlay. I had this issue with cod4

BF3 is my first battlefield game. It was a gift, and it's in russian.
I know bf2 is on steam, and for like 20$.

Didn't they eventually patch the game to remove dolphing diving as well as an accuracy reduction when going prone? Which they adapted in 2142 and forward (good change).

Trashed it several months ago. Wouldnt want to go thru several hours of fighting a black screen like the last time I reinstalled. I played half a round and went back to playing BFBC2. The pluses of BF2 just didnt win me over the pluses of BFBC2 Vietnam. Especially the terrain disappearing after a short distance. Sorry sniper, I see you even tho you think you are in tall grass.
Yet, this mod makes me 2nd guess trashing it.

I reinstalled it a few weeks ago. Was tough to get working for windows 7 64 bit but after reading up on it there was a certain way you had to patch it for it to work right.
Something like install the game, install spec ops, run 1.41 patch then 1.5 patch. Just going straight to 1.5 patch broke the install for some reason.
I also installed Forgotten hope 2 just to see how it looked.
