Really? The only thing that pops up for me is "Acknowledge Third Party Content" in the video manager.

That's usually what happens when youtube discovers that you're using a copyrighted song. When you acknowledge to that youtube will put up ads on your video which makes money for that artist.

I'm pretty sure we could use Phrakture's BF3 theme remix for the video (the one I used in my highlight vid of Bandar). I know him (sort of) personally and he's cool, so I could get full permission.

@LOA: this might be one way youtube is handling stuff (their goal is to get as much content online as possible and not to bother regarding 3parties rights- we are talking google here), The right-owners have a tendency to behave different, I know of other cases as I posted where the publishers go berserk.

@dek0y: it would be cool to use a remix, just keep in mind that a remix is only legal if the person doing the mix did clear the rights to do so with the author of the underlying works

We definitely have enough footage, it's just that someone has to go through more than 100 hours of footage to find them

I say we make a new thread, where everyone posts their personal memories, and then we can look up those moments.
